Colorado Accepting Digital Form of Money: U.S.
Political hopefuls in Colorado could soon acknowledge Bitcoin or other advanced monetary standards for their battles, as indicated by reports.
Secretary of State Wayne Williams made the proposition for permitting donations of digital currencies in political crusades in draft rules introduced.
The US Federal Election Commission (FEC) has effectively affirmed the acknowledgment of Bitcoin as in-kind donations for political campaigns, which gives the campaign 10 days to transfer the donated cryptographic money into their campaignsofficial depository.
Colorado would not be the first U.S. state to allow donations to political campaigns in digital money the first being New Hampshire, which began allowing candidates to accept contributions in cryptocurrency in 2014.
